Ingredients
- 1 pack Samyang Buldak Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen (black package)
- 1.5 cups boiling water
- 5 tablespoons grated low-moisture mozzarella
- 2 tablespoons heavy cream
- 2 scallions, thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon neutral oil
- Optional toppings: soft-boiled egg, toasted sesame seeds
First, Sauté the Garlic
This is a very fast, one-pan dish. Start by heating the neutral oil in a medium skillet over medium heat.
Add the minced garlic and cook for about 30-60 seconds, stirring constantly, until it’s fragrant and just starting to turn golden. Be careful not to let it burn.
Next, Cook the Noodles and Finish the Sauce
Place the block of instant noodles directly into the pan with the garlic. Pour the boiling water over the noodles.
Turn the heat up to high and let the noodles simmer, breaking them apart as they soften. Cook for ~3-4 minutes, until the noodles are cooked through and most of the water has evaporated, leaving just a little starchy liquid at the bottom of the pan.
Turn the heat down to low. Add the spicy buldak sauce packet, the grated mozzarella, and the heavy cream. Stir everything together quickly until the cheese is melted and a creamy, orange sauce forms. The sauce packet is extremely spicy, so you may want to start with half and add more to your taste.
Turn off the heat and stir in the sliced scallions. Serve immediately with any optional toppings you like.
Creamy Buldak Noodles

Ingredients

- 2 scallions thinly sliced
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 tablespoon neutral oil
- Optional toppings: soft-boiled egg toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Heat oil in skillet over medium heat and sauté minced garlic for 30 seconds until golden.
- Add noodles to pan and pour boiling water over them.
- Simmer on high 3-4 minutes, breaking noodles apart as they soften, until most water evaporates.
- Reduce heat to low, add sauce packet, mozzarella, and heavy cream. Stir until cheese melts and sauce is creamy.
- Turn off heat, stir in scallions and serve immediately.
